Tony Bolland

CEO

Tony Bolland is Chief Executive Officer and has over 20 years experience in the software industry.

As CEO, Tony leads the Avecto team working to deliver secure and compliant systems to organizations across the globe. Tony came to Avecto in 2008 from AppSense, the world leader in User Virtualization, where he was a founder and former CEO, leading the company from start-up to over $30 million in revenue.

Prior to AppSense, Tony was a founder of Vistorm Ltd, the information security and infrastructure services provider where he served as Sales Director, growing revenues from start up to over $50 million. Tony was a key member of the management team that raised $50 million in first round funding from 3i, CSFB and Granville Baird. Vistorm was acquired by HP in March 2008 and has since been renamed HP Information Security.

Tony holds an Honors degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Mark Austin

CTO

Mark Austin is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Avecto, providing the company’s technical strategy and leading its R&D activities. With over 20 years in the software industry, Mark has a wealth of experience in architecting enterprise class software products and delivering them to the market.

Prior to starting Avecto, Mark was CTO of AppSense for 8 years, where he was responsible for the company’s technical vision, and taking the company from start-up to a global leader in User Environment Management. Previously, in a lead technical role with Vistorm, he architected application delivery solutions for blue chip and government accounts.

Mark holds an Honors degree in Applied Computing, and has a software engineering background in real-time computing, artificial intelligence and system programming. He has spoken at numerous industry events across the globe, regarding system management and security, including the RSA Conference.

Paul Kenyon

COO

Paul Kenyon is co-founder and Chief Operations Officer, Paul is responsible for driving the revenue and growing sales globally with a focus on North America and Europe.

Paul is a successful business executive with an outstanding 15-year track record in building, growing and leading high-performing, multinational high tech companies in North America, Europe and the Pacific Rim. In 1999, he started AppSense, the global leader in User Environment Management for businesses and service providers. With the lead role on global sales, AppSense quickly grew to profitability with revenues of over $30 million.

Joe L’Italien

VP of Sales of the Americas

Joe L’Italien is Vice President of Sales of the Americas and has over 20 years senior management experience with enterprise software companies in sales, marketing, business development and general management. Joe is responsible for driving revenue in the region of the Americas.

Joe is a seasoned sales executive with an outstanding record of building and developing high growth companies. He was a founding member of NetManage and ftp Software, both pioneering internet companies. During his tenure at NetManage, the company went public, grew from zero to $125 million in annual sales and earned the top position in Business Week’s "fastest growing US company" two years in a row.

He was recently the VP of Worldwide Sales for BeyondTrust and prior to that VP of Sales for DesktopStandard where he oversaw average annual growth rates in excess of 100% resulting in acquisition by Microsoft. He has been a driving force for sales and service into Fortune 500, Global 2000 and countless mid-sized companies.
